Junior Designer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in current design trends and a curiosity across multiple creative disciplines. Working closely with our wider creative, production and client teams, you’ll help bring engaging ideas to life across a variety of projects and brands.
You’ll support the development of high-quality creative work across print, spatial and digital, learning from experienced creatives while building your own skills, confidence and creative voice in a collaborative agency environment.

The Role
As a Junior Designer at IMA, you’ll support the creative team in developing engaging and effective design solutions across a variety of client projects. You’ll have a strong interest in current design trends, a curiosity across different creative disciplines, and a genuine passion for learning and developing your craft.
Working closely with designers, creative leads, and internal teams, you’ll help bring ideas to life across both print and digital formats. You’ll be someone who’s eager to get stuck in, contribute creatively, and continuously build your skills in a fast-paced agency environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the development of engaging creative work across print, spatial and digital projects
- Interpreting and developing client briefs alongside creative and client services teams
- Researching projects and contributing ideas to strengthen creative output
- Working with wider studio teams to deliver high-quality design solutions
- Following established brand guidelines and key visuals across campaigns and assets
- Preparing artwork and documents to print and digital production standards
- Demonstrating strong typography and layout skills to communicate ideas effectively
- Presenting concepts and creative work to internal teams and clients where appropriate
- Supporting internal and external communications design when required
- Continuously developing your creative, technical and conceptual skills
What We’re Looking For
- A strong interest in graphic design, branding and visual communication
- Understanding of current design trends and creative best practices
- Basic understanding of print production and digital design standards
- Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Understanding of typography, layout and designing to grid systems
- Ability to adapt creative work across different media and formats
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow creative direction and interpret briefs effectively
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Positive attitude with a proactive, team-focused mindset
- Ability to manage your time and work to deadlines
- Curious, motivated and excited to create great work
