What You'll Do In This Role
As a Content Strategist, you will play a critical role in shaping how brands communicate across digital and traditional platforms. You’ll be responsible for assisting in content strategy, translating customer motivations into meaningful creative, developing compelling brand messaging, and contributing to the strategic direction of projects. Your work will ensure brand narratives are engaging, structured for performance, and aligned with audience insights.
Beyond shaping messaging, you’ll collaborate closely with designers, developers, leadership, and media strategists to organize robust research, optimize creative for ad placements, and ensure all content is strategically positioned for impact. This is not just about writing — it’s about leading content efforts, structuring effective storytelling, and ensuring a seamless flow across all brand touchpoints.
Specifically, you’ll do the following in this role:
Content Strategy & Brand Messaging:
- Develop brand voice and cohesive messaging across campaigns, websites, and marketing channels.
- Build brand story frameworks that align with client objectives, audience insights, and media strategy.
- Craft copy that is clear, compelling, and optimized for performance.
- Oversee content execution, ensuring consistency across platforms, including video, digital, print, and outdoor advertising.
- Identify gaps in the content team processes and make recommendations on how to improve them.
Website & UX Strategy:
- Collaborate with designers and developers to shape websites and digital experiences through strategic messaging, content structure, and UX-informed storytelling.
- Ensure site content is structured for clarity, engagement, and conversion.
- Develop content hierarchies and messaging flows that enhance the user journey.
Media & Audience Insights Collaboration:
- Partner with media strategists and analysts to shape content strategies based on audience research, ad performance, and behavioral data.
- Adapt creative concepts and messaging based on media insights to optimize engagement.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients to optimize campaign performance.
Creative Leadership & Execution:
- Collaborate with art directors and designers to ensure visual and verbal storytelling work together seamlessly.
- Present creative strategies and messaging frameworks to clients with clear rationale and a results-driven approach.
- Actively build client relationships with the goal of optimizing how HIFI pitches, creates, and executes on campaigns.
- Challenge existing ideas to continually push the team to be more creative.
Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for a strategic thinker with 2-3 years of experience in journalism, content or creative strategy, advertising, or editorial roles. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, can translate audience insights into effective creative, and has experience guiding teams toward impactful storytelling as well as:
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Sharp editorial instincts, attention to detail, and consistently clean copy..
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to thoughtfully challenge ideas.
- Curiosity about audience behavior, campaign performance, and emerging creative trends.
- Comfort navigating feedback and collaborating across creative, media, and development teams.
- Confidence presenting ideas and articulating strategic rationale to both clients and internal teams.
- Adaptability across clients, tones, campaign goals, and platforms.
- Financial or technology experience is a plus, but not a must!

Salary Range For This Position
Relative to your experience, this position carries a $50,000 - $60,000 salary range with many opportunities for future growth.
