Marketing & Digital Strategy Manager OverviewThe Marketing & Digital Strategy Manager (MDSM) plays a pivotal role in shaping and amplifying the story of Pickle Hospitality Group (PHG) across all digital and physical platforms. This is a hands-on, creative, and strategy-driven position that blends content creation, social media management, and campaign execution with brand storytelling and cultural awareness.
The MDSM works closely with the Director of Marketing & Product Strategy, meeting weekly to align on active campaigns, brand initiatives, and evolving business goals. This individual is expected to be a proactive thinker and creative executor, consistently finding new, engaging, and authentic ways to position PHG — and each of its unique restaurant brands — at the forefront of the hospitality and lifestyle conversation.
Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Brand Storytelling- Develop compelling photo, video, and written content for social media, email newsletter, website, and digital advertising channels.
- Visit each PHG location weekly to collect dynamic, high-quality content showcasing food, cocktails, guests, staff, and atmosphere.
- Capture and edit engaging videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms.
- Attend and document key events, activations, and menu launches to generate assets for future campaigns.
- Create and maintain an organized digital content library, ensuring assets are properly tagged and accessible.
- New menu and retail item development based on what’s trending
Digital Marketing & Social Media Management- Manage daily social media operations, including scheduling posts, writing captions, and maintaining an updated content calendar.
- Track analytics, identify trends, and report on performance metrics to measure engagement and campaign success. This will be reported on on a weekly basis and monthly basis
- Continuously explore trending music, memes, and cultural moments to keep PHG brands relevant and authentic on social platforms.
- Develop TikTok growth strategies, identifying opportunities for virality and brand differentiation.
- Assist in email marketing and text messaging campaigns — from layout design and copywriting to performance tracking and list management.
- Assist in managing new potential media mediums including but not limited to Youtube, Podcasts, LinkedIn Pinterest etc
Design & Campaign Support- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to design digital and print marketing materials, including event flyers, posters, menus, check presenters, and in-store signage.
- Ensure brand consistency across all materials and channels.
- Assist in creating and distributing monthly promotional and campaign calendars for all locations.
Event Marketing & Brand Activations/Partnerships- Support the planning, promotion, and execution of brand activations, media events, and community partnerships.
- Be constantly on the lookout for other relevant brands for PHG to partner and collaborate and bring pitches to the table
- Oversee and execute unique brand partnerships
- Coordinate with restaurant management teams to ensure on-site marketing touchpoints (table tents, signage, retail displays, etc.) are current and effective.
- Capture live event content and post-event recaps for social and press use.
Organization & Systems- Manage marketing asset organization across multiple digital storage platforms (Google Drive, Canva, etc.).
- Maintain updated brand folders and content trackers for each PHG concept.
- Assist in maintaining brand guidelines and supporting documents for internal use.
