Role Description The National Sales Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role with flexibility for mostly work from home. This role is responsible for managing and growing national retail accounts, including building strong relationships with buyers, distributors, and key decision-makers. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, presenting product offerings, negotiating terms, and supporting account onboarding and promotions. The National Sales Specialist will collaborate with internal teams on sales forecasting, pricing, trade spend, and logistics to ensure execution excellence. The role also includes monitoring category trends, preparing sales reports and presentations, and representing OrgaNick Pastures at industry events and customer meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, manage expectations, and provide responsive support to national accounts.
- Demonstrated Sales and Sales Operations experience, including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and deal execution.
- Proven Business Development capabilities, with a track record of prospecting, opening new accounts, and expanding existing relationships.
- Experience in CPG, natural/organic food, or grocery retail preferred; understanding of national and regional retailers and distributors is a plus.
- Ability to analyze sales data, category trends, and promotional performance to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Self-directed work style, strong organizational skills, and comfort working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, trade shows, and internal meetings as needed.
- Experience selling eggs or dairy is a major plus.
