Junior Software Engineer
Location: Downtown Manhattan, New York, NY
Full-Time | Permanent Position
Onsite Position (Some Flexibility Available)
Compensation: $90K - $110K Base + Equity + Benefits

They are seeking an ambitious Junior Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Downtown Manhattan. This is an outstanding opportunity for an early-career engineer who enjoys building products, solving complex technical problems, and working directly alongside experienced engineers and company leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Build and launch new product features from concept through production
• Collaborate closely with engineers and leadership to solve real-world business challenges through software
• Contribute across multiple areas of the technology stack, including backend development, frontend development, infrastructure, and deployment
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested production code
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and product development initiatives
• Utilize modern AI-powered development tools to increase productivity and accelerate feature delivery
What We're Looking For:
• Strong computer science fundamentals, particularly data structures, algorithms, and problem solving
• Ability to think through complex technical challenges and understand how systems work under the hood
• Demonstrated ability to build and ship real-world projects through internships, personal projects, coursework, startups, freelance work, or open-source contributions
• Comfortable learning new technologies, programming languages, and frameworks as needed
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted coding tools as part of the software development process
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to software engineering through internships, research projects, startup environments, or open-source work
• Public GitHub projects, technical portfolio, or other examples of hands-on development work
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
