We are seeking a highly motivated, Mechanical Designer / CAD Designer to work closely with our engineers to create and improve manufacturing systems and develop drawings for a wide variety of products in the manufacture of RF Cable assemblies. MegaPhase products include coaxial cable, cable assemblies, and connectors.
Responsibilities
- Detail mechanical parts using CAD software using SolidWorks
- Understanding of mechanical tolerances and interpretation of drawings
- Create Mechanical drawings
- Incorporate engineering change notices and maintain revision control
- Assist in developing tooling for use in manufacturing and assembling product
- Develop BOM for top level assemblies
- Develop assembly drawings for use in manufacturing of product
- Understanding of ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System within the mechanical design and process engineering functions of the Engineering Department
- Provide technical support for product and process engineering tasks
- Other projects as assigned

- Ability to read and interpret internal and customer drawings
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction to established standards
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Sales, and Finance Departments
- Focused with strong attention to detail
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a closely related technical field preferred.
- 3-5 Years of industry related experience. Additional experience may be in lieu of education at the rate of 2 years of experience for each year of education
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in SolidWorks
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
