Role Description
The Communications Assistant supports L’AGENCE’s communications efforts by assisting with campaigns, influencer coordination, media requests, and brand initiatives. This role requires a highly organized, creative, and proactive individual with a passion for fashion and an eye for detail. The Communications Assistant collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners to help build brand awareness, develop influencer relationships, and support events and activations. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Los Angeles, CA.
Primary Responsibilities
- VIP Product Coordination: Assist in managing VIP product loans, including pulling items from the warehouse, shipping, and tracking check-in/check-out. Support celebrity dressing management by handling inquiries, gifting, and logistics.
- Media & Press Support: Track global press coverage and create monthly and event-specific recaps. Assist in research and support the planning and execution of press events, from production to recap.
- Showroom & Sample Management: Oversee daily PR showroom maintenance, including seasonal sample organization, packaging, inventory and merchandising.
- Campaign & Event Support: Contribute creatively and thoughtfully to seasonal marketing campaigns and event strategies. Provide general administrative and project support to the communications team as needed.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in Marketing or Public Relations in the fashion, beauty or luxury fields preferred.
- Creative mindset with an interest in contributing to campaign and event strategies.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Canva, Outlook and MS Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong writing, organization, presentation and communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Knowledge and interest in the fashion industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
