Milni is a peer-to-peer marketplace for renting and reselling South Asian formalwear. Built on top of Aayka Fashion, NYC's leading South Asian rental brand. 7,000 customers, 2,000+ rentals completed, live platform, active seed raise.
Looking for one sharp engineer to work directly with me, the founder, starting immediately. This is 0-to-1 building at an early stage NYC startup. You will ship things real users interact with from day one.
What you're building:
- React Native iOS app from our existing web platform
- Sizing and fit input flow, measurement capture that actually works for South Asian garments
- Laundry partner integration
This is a good fit if you:
- Have extremely high agency and high taste
- Build fast using AI tools
- React or React Native experience, bonus if you've shipped something to the App Store
- Think about the user experience, not just the code
- Want real ownership on something people actually use and care about

- Paid, $20-25/hour depending on experience
