Job Summary:
As a leader in the pallet recovery, remanufacturing of pallets, and recycling of pallet materials in the Northern Sacramento Valley, this allows us to serve our customers in a variety of areas and be environmentally responsible by reducing waste, reusing products wherever possible, and recycling. We have been providing quality domestic and export pallet and shipping products to our customers for over 25 years beginning in the 1980s supplying cable reels throughout the West Coast.
Rate of pay:
$25/HR

- Monday- Friday
- 7AM - 3:30PM
- Home Daily
Driver Responsibilities:
· Drive Hay Trailers/ Flatbed with Doubles delivering pallets to customers.
· Strapping down 600-700 pallets to go out for delivery.
· Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.
· Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured.
· Collect payments and accurately document delivery.
· Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
· Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.
· Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.
· Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Flatbed experience and Doubles experience Preferred
- Forklift experience is a huge plus
- Must have experience strapping frieght
· To be at least 21 years old.
· A valid commercial Class A driver's license, with doubles endorsement
· A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
· The ability to maneuver heavy objects.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
· To carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (2) years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred.
- 1 Year of Flatbed or Stake Bed experience Preferred
- Forklift experience
- Class A with Doubles Endorsement.
- Able to load and unload trucks, do warehouse work, general housekeeping and yard work.
