Atlassian is seeking a Technical Revenue Accounting Manager to oversee our Enterprise sales in the EMEA region. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role, where you will get to partner with leaders across Sales, Legal, Finance to support Atlassian’s growth objectives. You will provide technical accounting expertise on ASC 606 to business stakeholders on a variety of areas including contract templates, commercial constructs, new product introductions and strategic revenue initiatives.

This role reports to our Head of Revenue Accounting who is invested in the continued development of the team and your career.
In this role, you'll get to
Manage the review and approval of data center and cloud revenue agreements, ensuring appropriate recognition in accordance with ASC 606, Atlassian Revenue Policy, and other applicable standards.
Provide support and guidance to Sales, Legal, and Order Management teams on deal structure and contractual terms for revenue compliance and optimization.
Review non-standard terms, ensuring accurate technical accounting assessment and computation of accounting adjustments needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors regarding revenue accounting matters, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Continuously identify and implement improvements to revenue accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
5+ years of revenue experience with 3 years minimally in a technical accounting role, ideally with experience with Public Companies
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and primarily revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
Proficient in using large scale ERP systems (Oracle Fusion a plus), and Revpro
Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about issues, leading to recommendations and action plans
Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels at the company
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
BA/BS degree in Accounting. CPA or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Experience with a Big-4 accounting firm is strongly preferred.

Pay Ranges
In The United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $127,800 - $166,850
Zone B: $115,200 - $150,400
Zone C: $106,200 - $138,650
