We are a specialty company that provides mold assessment and cause-and-origin analysis for water-damaged dwellings and commercial buildings. We service the entire State of Florida. We are seeking a Florida-licensed mold assessor to perform assessments in the Orlando area. Those with an asbestos inspector certification are highly encouraged to apply.
This is a work-from-home hybrid role where a few days a week will be spent in the field, and some days you will be at home writing reports. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
Duties may include:
- Mold Remediation Protocol Development
- Mold Remediation Project Oversight
- Post-Mold Remediation Verifications
- Indoor Air Quality Investigations
- Post-Water Infiltration Assessments
- Mold spore sampling (air, tape lifts, or swabs)
- Clandestine Drug Lab (Meth Lab) verification, cleaning protocols, and post-remediation inspections
- Asbestos Surveys

Physical demands
One must have the ability to perform the following daily duties
- The ability to drive up to 3 hours each way to and from job sites with reliable transportation.
- Climb a ladder while carrying 30 lbs.
- Moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to move oneself in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces (ie, crawl spaces and attics).
Travel
- Travel daily to and from job sites. Overnight/extended travel does occur occasionally.
Desired Background Experience: Building science, construction, civil engineering, industrial hygiene, occupational safety, health sciences, asbestos consulting, and insurance adjuster.
Florida Licensed Mold Assessors and Certified Indoor Environmentalists (CIE) are encouraged to submit a resume.
Minimum Required Education: AA Degree or higher
Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check.
