Key Responsibilities
As the YRI Sales Manager, you will play a key role in growing the YRI brand across the resort and destination retail market. This role will focus on selling YRI products to destination resorts nationwide, including National Parks, ski resorts, beach resorts, destination town gift shops, resort retailers, and other tourism-driven retail accounts.
You will inherit existing YRI customers and will also have access to our broader customer and lead lists across our other brands. This is an in-house sales role for someone who is organized, motivated, comfortable with outreach, and excited to build relationships with retail buyers across the country.
Key Responsibilities
1) Existing Customer Management
- Manage and grow relationships with existing YRI customers.
- Follow up with current accounts to drive reorders, introduce new products, and increase account penetration.
- Provide excellent customer support and represent the YRI brand professionally.
2) New Business Identification
- Target customer lists from our other 2 inhouse brands. Utilize warm introductions and existing relationships for quick sales growth.
- Target leads list from other 2 inhouse brands.
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities in the resort and destination retail market.
- Target National Parks, ski resorts, beach resorts, destination town gift shops, resort retailers, and other travel-driven retail accounts.
- Use existing customer lists, lead lists, market research, cold calling, email outreach, and industry events to build a strong pipeline of potential accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and support customer needs.
3) Use Systems Effectively
- Use our CRM to manage and track leads
- Use our ERP system to track orders and inventory.
4) Brand Representation
- Act as a brand ambassador for YRI, clearly communicating our products, story, and value to customers.
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed.
- Build long-term relationships with buyers and retail partners.
The Job’s Qualifications & Requirements
Required
- Grind mindset and willingness to pick up the phone to build new business
- Comfortable cold calling and emailing potential customers
- Comfortable talking to customers in person and on the phone with the goal of sales
- Hungry to earn more money by selling more
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline and follow up consistently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strongly Preferred
- Experience in wholesale sales of consumer products, ideally apparel and souvenirs
- Experience selling to resort, gift, outdoor, tourism, apparel, accessory, or specialty retail accounts
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems

- Compensation: On-target earnings for Year 1, $65,000; Year 2, $90,000
- Benefits: Health Plan, 3% IRA match
