Responsibilities
- Partner with Regional and Retail Leadership teams to develop and execute people strategies that support business objectives, operational priorities, and long-term growth plans.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to General Managers, providing strategic guidance on organizational design, talent management, succession planning, and team effectiveness.
- Leverage business insights, workforce analytics, and organizational trends to identify opportunities, recommend solutions, and drive measurable business results through talent and organizational initiatives, including analysis of productivity, labor utilization, turnover, absenteeism, and other key people metrics.
- Coach and develop retail leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities, improve employee engagement, enhance performance, and build high-performing teams.
- Collaborate with business leaders and Talent Acquisition teams to identify critical talent needs, strengthen workforce capabilities, and ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention strategies across the region.
- Drive performance management processes that foster accountability, continuous development, and alignment between individual performance and business goals.
- Act as a strategic consultant during periods of growth, transformation, and change, ensuring people strategies effectively support business performance and operational excellence.
- Champion a culture of engagement, inclusion, and accountability by partnering with leaders to strengthen team effectiveness, enhance the employee experience, improve workplace climate, and reinforce company values and employer brand.
- Ensure people-related practices align with company values, business priorities, and applicable employment standards while maintaining a balanced focus on risk management and business success.
- Partner with business leaders to optimize workforce planning, staffing models, and labor resource allocation, ensuring effective management of hours, productivity, and talent investments while balancing employee experience and business performance objectives.
Qualifications/Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience supporting multi-site or regional operations.
- Experience partnering with senior business leaders in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, preferably within retail or consumer-facing industries.
- Demonstrated success driving organizational change, talent development, and business performance through people strategies.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interpret people metrics, workforce trends, and business performance data to inform decision-making.
- Experience developing and delivering leadership development, coaching, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and build credibility with teams.
- Strong coaching and consulting skills with a demonstrated ability to challenge and support leaders effectively.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution and operational excellence.
- Spanish proficiency preferred.
