Electrical Design Engineer
Test Logic is a leading manufacturer of test equipment for turbine engines, gearboxes, and other aviation components. For 26 years, Test Logic has provided solutions to complicated testing requirements to customers all over the world. Test Logic is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design these test systems. The ideal candidate is expected to be a detail oriented engineer who can make decisions independently under the guidance of senior staff
Required Skills/Activities
AutoCAD Electrical, Utilizing 2D and 3D aspects.
Supports the development of CAD standards and standard electrical details
PLC Programming – Brands we use include Automation Direct and Allen Bradley
Motor Controls, Pumps
Data Acquisition, Signal Conditioning
System Schematics, Panel Layout Design, Equipment layouts in rooms
Interconnectivity/Cable/Wiring Diagrams
Instrumentation & Control Drawing
Knowledgeable about National Electrical Code NFPA 70
Meet Schedule and Budget requirements
Participate in the quoting process
MS Office Software such as Word and Excel
Preferred skills
Experience with National Instruments hardware and LabVIEW Software.
VFD and motor systems, sometimes upwards of 1000 HP, utilizing regeneration or shared DC
Bus systems
Servo drive systems
Familiarity with gas turbines and their testing or similar
Calibration experience
Some Travel may be required to install new equipment and support existing installations.
There will also be phone and email support of customers
Relocation and sponsorship are not available for this position.
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
Bachelor’s In Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Entry Level to Senior Level applicants
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 8 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday- Friday.
Overtime may be required.
