About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our finance function and help drive the financial health of our organization. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance to support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.
- Coordinate external audits and act as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
- Support business growth initiatives through financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
- Mentor and develop members of the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or senior accounting leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Experience managing audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
