Marketing Associate — Wealth Management | Fifth Avenue Financial (MassMutual Network)
Location: New York, NY Salary: $55,000–$65,000 base + performance incentives
Experience: 1–3 years | Bachelor's degree required
What is this role?
The Marketing Associate at Fifth Avenue Financial (FAF) is a right-hand execution partner to the SVP of Marketing at a leading wealth management firm within the MassMutual network. This is not a generalist entry-level role, but rather sits at the intersection of financial services compliance, advisor enablement, and brand marketing. The ideal candidate understands or is eager to learn the regulatory environment of financial marketing (FINRA, SEC), can manage compliance workflows for marketing materials, and can support a senior marketing leader across a high volume of concurrent initiatives.
Why financial services experience matters
Marketing in wealth management operates under strict regulatory guidelines. You will own the end-to-end compliance approval process for all marketing materials, tracking submissions, managing deadlines, and ensuring every asset meets both brand standards and financial industry regulations. Familiarity with compliance workflows, broker-dealer marketing rules, or financial services content (even from an internship) will give you a meaningful head start.

SVP Marketing Support & Campaign Execution
- Serve as the primary execution partner to the SVP of Marketing, translating strategy into organized, on-deadline deliverables
- Manage project timelines, internal coordination, and vendor communication across simultaneous campaigns
- Keep initiatives moving through strong follow-through and proactive communication
Marketing Compliance Ownership
- Own the full compliance lifecycle for marketing materials — submission, tracking, approval, and recordkeeping
- Ensure all content adheres to regulatory guidelines applicable to a FINRA-registered wealth management firm
- Maintain organized compliance records and enforce brand standards across all materials
Content & Digital Marketing
- Create and edit content for email campaigns, social media, newsletters, and advisor-facing communications
- Schedule and publish content across social platforms; build and update materials in Canva and PowerPoint
- Capture and organize photos, video, and event content to support firm culture and advisor storytelling
Financial Advisor Marketing Support
- Respond to day-to-day marketing requests from financial advisors
- Assist advisors with event promotion, communications, and onboarding to marketing platforms
- Ensure all advisor-facing materials meet brand and compliance standards
Events & Philanthropy
- Coordinate logistics, communications, and materials for FAF's community events and philanthropic initiatives
- Capture and share highlights from charitable and volunteer activities to support firm storytelling
What You Bring

- 1–3 years of experience; relevant internships in financial services, marketing, or communications strongly preferred
- Exposure to financial services marketing, compliance workflows, or regulated industry content is a significant plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva; experience with email platforms or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a bonus
- Exceptionally organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, compliance-conscious environment
- Positive, collaborative attitude with a genuine eagerness to grow
