About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Telephone Sales Representative to join our in-house sales team in Pittsburg, KS. In this role, you will proactively contact businesses by phone to introduce and sell our comprehensive suite of digital and online visibility products. You will play a key role in helping local businesses in the United States and Canada across 123 markets increase their online presence, generate more leads, and grow their revenue. This is a pure outbound/inbound telephone sales position with a strong focus on building relationships, overcoming objections, and closing sales over the phone.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to businesses to present and sell our digital products and services
- Qualify leads and identify business needs through effective discovery questioning
- Grow your assignments and achieve your weekly sales goal.
- Educate business owners on how our solutions can solve their online visibility challenges
- Sell the following digital products and packages:
- Online Directory Package – Comprehensive business listings across major directories
- Guaranteed Sponsored Placement – Premium featured positioning in high-traffic online directories
- Review Management – Tools and strategies to collect, monitor, and respond to customer reviews
- Online Listing Management – Centralized management and optimization of business listings across the web
- Websites – SEO friendly responsive business websites
- SEO Services – Search Engine Optimization to improve local and organic search rankings
- Text Marketing (SMS Marketing) –Text messaging campaigns to engage customers and drive repeat/new business
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
- Accurately track all sales activity and customer interactions
- Follow up with prospects and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to close
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in telephone sales, inside sales, or outbound business-to-business sales (2-3+ years of experience preferred), ideally in digital sales, Yellow Pages, TV, radio, newspaper, Thryv, Dex Media, Aflac, or other advertising sales environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident, professional phone presence
- Strong ability to handle objections and close sales over the phone
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive to hit and exceed targets
- Basic understanding of digital products concepts (SEO, Websites, Online Reviews, SMS Marketing, Google Business Profiles, Online Listings Management) – training provided
- Resilient, positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
- Proficiency with customer engagement software and basic computer skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
