Position Overview
We are seeking a Private Equity Analyst to join our client's investment team. This role offers significant exposure to all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments in lower middle market industrial businesses.
The ideal candidate will have approximately two years of experience in investment banking, private credit, or management consulting, along with strong financial modeling, valuation, and industry research skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in private equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate potential investment opportunities through financial modeling, valuation, and business analysis.
- Conduct industry, market, and competitive research to support investment decisions.
- Assist with due diligence, management meetings, and transaction execution.
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for the Investment Committee.
- Monitor portfolio company performance through financial and operational analysis.
- Work closely with management teams, lenders, advisors, and third-party diligence providers throughout the investment lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
- Approximately 2 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, management consulting, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and accounting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thoughtful industry and market research.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Pay Range
$85,000 to $90,000 plus additional bonus
