Agentman (Chain of Agents, Inc.) is a seed-stage agentic AI company building Medman — an agentic back-office automation platform purpose-built for independent specialty medical practices. Medman deploys AI agents that handle eligibility verification, prior authorization, inbox triage, and other revenue-cycle tasks that today consume hours of manual staff time, freeing practices to focus on patient care.
We are a member of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network, and our engineering stack is built on Claude as the foundation model. The founding team combines deep healthcare operations expertise with enterprise software and AI experience. We are live with paying customers in California — our flagship customer cut monthly eligibility-verification work from 50 hours to 7 and reduced denials by 65% — and we are currently raising our seed round.
This is a ground-floor opportunity to build the sales function at the intersection of agentic AI and healthcare — two of the most consequential sectors of the next decade.
The Role
We are hiring our first Sales Development Representative to fuel Medman's growth across independent specialty medical practices. This role reports to the VP, Agentic GTM and works in close partnership with the VP, Agentic Healthcare. You will be on the front lines of our go-to-market motion — identifying, engaging, and qualifying practice administrators and owner-operators, and setting up high-quality demos for the founding team.
As our first sales hire, your conversations do double duty: they build pipeline, and they feed market insight — objections, competitor mentions, which pain points land — directly back into our messaging, product, and strategy. You are proactive, curious about AI and healthcare operations, and energized by building pipeline in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and qualify independent specialty practices through outbound outreach.
- Conduct initial discovery calls with practice administrators and office managers to understand their pain points — eligibility calls, prior authorizations, denial follow-ups, inbox overload — and assess fit.
- Deliver quick first-look demos that introduce Medman’s full solution suite in plain, operational terms (time saved, denials avoided, dollars recovered) — and convert interest into deeper demos with the founding team.
- Own pipeline hygiene — maintain accurate activity, contact, and deal tracking in HubSpot across the Medman Sales pipeline.
- Run targeted outbound campaigns in partnership with the VP of Agentic GTM, iterating on ICP filters, scripts, and objection handling based on what you hear.
- Share market and customer insights with the GTM and Product teams — your calls are our closest read on the market.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–4+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
- Strong interest in B2B sales — ideally healthcare, SaaS, or AI; experience selling into medical practices or health systems is a strong plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to hold a credible conversation with a practice administrator about their operations.
- Excellent at outbound prospecting and high-volume, high-quality outreach.
- Organized, resilient, and motivated by clear goals and metrics.
- Able to work autonomously while collaborating closely with a small founding team.
- Eager to learn the product, the healthcare revenue-cycle domain, and the sales craft quickly.

Compensation
- Base: $60,000–$75,000 + commission + equity (OTE $100,000–$125,000).
Compensation is benchmarked to early-stage healthcare AI SDR/BDR roles and will be finalized based on experience.
