Marwood is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Analyst to support the firm's commercial growth initiatives and business development efforts.
This role is ideal for individuals interested in building a career at the intersection of healthcare, business development, and commercial strategy. Working alongside Marwood's business development professionals, analysts help identify new opportunities, develop market intelligence, prepare client proposals, and support relationship management efforts across the firm's diverse client base.
Business Development Analysts play an important role in helping drive the firm's continued growth by developing a deep understanding of healthcare markets, monitoring industry and transaction activity, supporting client development efforts, and ensuring Marwood is well-positioned to serve existing and prospective clients.
The position offers significant exposure to the healthcare industry, private equity and M&A activity, healthcare corporate strategy, and the commercial side of a leading healthcare advisory firm. Successful analysts will have opportunities to develop increasingly client-facing responsibilities and grow within the firm's business development organization over time.
Principal Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support Marwood's business development team in pursuing new client opportunities across Marwood’s consulting and diligence verticals
- Prepare and work cross-functionally with Marwood’s staff to build customized proposals, marketing materials, client briefing insights, and other business development deliverables
- Maintain and strengthen the firm's business development intelligence by tracking opportunities and pipeline activity across internal systems, while proactively monitoring industry developments to identify new business opportunities
- Conduct targeted research on healthcare companies, investors, and industry subsectors to support client outreach and relationship development
- Collaborate across Marwood's consulting and business development teams to support strategic growth initiatives and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a highly regarded university with a strong academic record
- 0–3 years of professional experience in healthcare, consulting, financial services, corporate strategy, business development, or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare policy, consulting, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and/or commercial strategy
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize information into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce, PitchBook, Monday.com, or similar CRM and market intelligence platforms is a plus
- Desire to develop a career in client-facing business development and contribute to the long-term growth of a leading healthcare advisory firm

Compensation is a salary commensurate with experience plus performance incentives and benefits package.
