Compensation: $125,000 + 6% bonus
Position SummaryWe are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our growing eCommerce team. This role combines User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design, focusing on understanding customer behavior, designing intuitive user journeys, and creating engaging digital experiences that drive conversion and support business growth. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with creative, development, marketing, and brand teams to deliver user-centered, visually compelling, and scalable design solutions across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesUX Design & User Experience- Own the development of new website standards, user experiences, and reusable design modules.
- Create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate user interactions.
- Develop and maintain a UX roadmap by identifying user experience and conversion optimization opportunities.
- Design and evaluate A/B tests to improve website performance and customer conversion.
- Plan and conduct usability testing, incorporating customer feedback into future design iterations.
- Analyze customer behavior, website analytics, heatmaps, and conversion data to guide design decisions.
UI Design & Visual Experience- Design responsive user experiences optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Maintain consistency with established brand guidelines across all digital experiences.
- Develop and maintain component libraries, design systems, and eCommerce design standards.
- Create scalable design solutions that support future website enhancements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner with creative, development, marketing, and brand teams to ensure designs align with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation.
- Investigate customer journeys to identify friction points and opportunities to improve user engagement and conversion.
- Support ongoing optimization of the eCommerce experience through continuous testing and iteration.
QualificationsRequired- 2+ years of hands-on UX/UI design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design projects.
- Expertise designing responsive experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma or similar design and prototyping software.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Experience conducting usability testing and applying user feedback.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience interpreting A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), heatmaps, and customer behavior data.
- Excellent visual design skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working with Shopify Plus.
Preferred- HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Motion graphics or animation experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced eCommerce or direct-to-consumer environment.
