About the Position
We are seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented **Entry-Level Interior Designer** to join our growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a **recent graduate** with a passion for interior design who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent design instincts and the ability to translate client conversations into thoughtful, functional, and beautiful design solutions. You should be organized, adaptable, and excited to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects while learning from an experienced team. **THIS POSITION IS FOR A RECENT INTERIOR DESIGN GRADUATE**
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited college or university.
* **Recent graduate** or **0–2 years of professional interior design experience.**
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and architectural plans.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in both collaborative and independent work environments.
* Positive attitude with the ability to remain professional in a fast-paced setting.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Responsibilities
As an Entry-Level Interior Designer, you will support the design team through every phase of the project while gaining valuable industry experience. Responsibilities include:
* Assist in creating creative and functional interior design concepts, layouts, and presentations.
* Meet with clients alongside the design team to understand project goals, needs, and design preferences.
* Prepare design presentations, including floor plans, mood boards, 2D and 3D renderings, and material selections.
* Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, contractors, and project team members.
* Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, specifications, and project documentation.
* Coordinate product orders, monitor order status, and follow through on deliveries.
* Schedule and coordinate installations and project logistics.
* Conduct site visits for field measurements, documentation, client meetings, and installation coordination.
* Maintain organized project files, schedules, spreadsheets, and records.
* Stay current with industry trends, products, materials, and emerging design technologies.
* Assist with the firm's social media and marketing initiatives as needed.
* Perform general administrative support, including answering phones and assisting with office operations.
* Maintain regular communication with the Principal Designer and project teams regarding project progress and deadlines.
