We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer I to join our manufacturing team! This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers who are passionate about manufacturing, process improvement, and solving technical challenges in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment-related issues.
- Monitor production metrics, including yield, scrap, and defects, to improve operational performance.
- Perform root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, 6M, and other structured problem-solving techniques.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Assist with the implementation, qualification, and validation of new equipment and manufacturing processes (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Production, and R&D.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation while ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO, and quality standards.
- Present technical findings and project updates to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 0–3 years of manufacturing engineering experience (internship or co-op experience is welcome).
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience analyzing manufacturing data such as yield, scrap, and process performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Fluency in English is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or co-op experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with statistical tools such as Minitab or JMP.
- Familiarity with ERP or MES systems.
- Exposure to equipment installation, automation, or manufacturing process validation.
