Control Shift Video is looking for a freliable, detail-oriented freelance illustrator to collaborate with our core team on a variety of projects. Our work spans technology, healthcare, energy, consumer brands, and nonprofits — and we’re always looking for illustrators who can help bring complex ideas to life with clarity and style.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating custom illustrations for video, motion graphics, web, and brand content
- Collaborating with our creative team to develop visual styles, concepts, and story-driven imagery
- Translating scripts, ideas, or loose concepts into clear, compelling visuals
- Preparing artwork for animation, motion, or digital delivery
- Iterating based on feedback while maintaining consistency and quality
What We’re Looking For
- Strong illustration skills with a clear, cohesive style (or styles)
- Experience creating artwork for video, motion graphics, or digital platforms
- Ability to simplify complex or technical ideas visually
- Comfort working independently while collaborating with a creative team
- Reliable communication, meeting deadlines, and delivering what you promise
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools
Motion or animation experience is a plus, but not required.
