Role Description The Special Events and Marketing Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of events, plus venue support plus work on The Event Planner Expo and client-specific engagements. In this role, the assistant helps with event logistics, client relations, venue coordination, vendor communication, BEO's, contracts, guest list management, and on-site setup and breakdown. The assistant also supports the team managing inquiries, leads, follow ups, contracts, maintaining accurate records, google spreadsheets and reports, and providing responsive customer service to clients, partners, and guests.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and event attendees.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Sales & Marketing skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with common office software and familiarity with social media platforms and basic digital marketing tools.
- Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Previous experience in events, hospitality, or marketing is preferred; an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.

Base Salary + Performance Bonus + Holiday Bonus
