SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creative Social Media Coordinator with a strong eye for visual aesthetics, a passion for content creation, and the ability to help manage social media calendars for multiple brands.
This role is ideal for an emerging social media professional who is excited to grow their skills, contribute fresh ideas, and collaborate with our social media managers, designers, and account teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the development and execution of monthly social media plans for multiple client accounts.
- Create, organize, and maintain social media content calendars while ensuring consistency with each client’s brand voice, goals, and visual identity.
- Develop engaging social media content, including short-form videos, graphics, captions, stories, and platform-specific posts.
- Identify trending sounds, formats, topics, and content opportunities across Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
- Write clear, compelling, and on-brand social media copy tailored to each client’s target audience.
- Collaborate with designers and internal creative teams to develop visually appealing graphics and other social media assets.
- Schedule and publish content using social media management and scheduling platforms.
- Assist with community management by monitoring accounts, engaging with followers, and responding to comments and messages according to established brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to gather information, approvals, assets, and updates needed for content creation.
- Support on-location photo and video shoots as needed, including capturing behind-the-scenes and social-first content.
- Monitor basic social media performance metrics and help identify opportunities to improve engagement and content performance.
- Conduct regular research on platform trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Help ensure client deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Provide professional and responsive support during client and internal communications.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Experience creating content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Strong understanding of current social media trends, platform features, and content best practices.
- Experience creating and maintaining social media content calendars.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt to different brand voices.
- Comfortable capturing and editing short-form photo and video content.
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social media scheduling or management platforms.
- Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines and client accounts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative, dependable, and receptive to feedback.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Professional and confident when communicating with clients and internal team members.
DETAILS | COMPENSATION
- Hybrid work schedule, including two days in the office each week to support collaboration and teamwork.
- On-location photo and video shoot days as needed.
Compensation: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience.
