Role Description The Investment Banking Analyst at Northern Edge Advisors is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. The analyst supports transaction execution by building detailed financial models, preparing valuation analyses, and conducting company and industry research. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with due diligence, preparing client presentations and marketing materials, and analyzing financial statements and market data. The analyst collaborates with senior team members on deal strategy, helps evaluate potential buyers and transaction structures, and contributes to the drafting of pitch books and offering memoranda. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, and effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Investment Banking concepts, including valuation methods and transaction structures.
- Advanced Financial Modeling skills, with the ability to build and interpret complex models in Excel.
- Robust Analytical Skills for interpreting financial statements, market data, and industry trends.
- Experience or training in Due Diligence, including reviewing financial, legal, and operational information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
