We are a growing residential remodeling and construction company looking for an experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our team.
This is not an entry-level design position. We are looking for someone who already understands the kitchen and bath industry, has worked in a cabinet/kitchen/bath showroom environment, and is comfortable working directly with homeowners from the initial design through ordering and project handoff.
Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners to discuss kitchen, bathroom, cabinetry, flooring and tile projects
- Create professional kitchen and bathroom designs and layouts
- Must be proficient with ProKitchen Software and/or 2020 Design
- Design kitchens, vanities, built-ins and other cabinetry
- Prepare cabinet layouts, elevations and renderings
- Help customers with cabinet styles, colors, hardware and finishes
- Assist with flooring, tile, backsplash and countertop selections
- Accurately measure project spaces
- Prepare material lists and cabinet orders
- Review designs and measurements before ordering
- Work closely with our project manager and construction team
- Communicate with vendors, cabinet manufacturers and suppliers
- Help manage projects from design and selections through final ordering
- Maintain an organized and professional showroom experience
Experience We Are Looking For
- Previous experience working for a kitchen, cabinet, bath or remodeling showroom
- Strong knowledge of kitchen cabinetry and the kitchen remodeling industry
- Experience with ProKitchen or 2020 Design is required
- Knowledge of cabinet construction, fillers, panels, moldings and installation requirements
- Understanding of countertops, flooring, tile and backsplash materials
- Ability to read measurements, plans and construction drawings
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable communicating with homeowners, contractors and vendors
Knowledge of residential remodeling and construction is a major plus.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the design side of our company and help provide customers with a professional experience from the first meeting through the start of construction.
Position: Full-Time

Pay: $56,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
