Do you have a passion for design, customer service, and helping people create beautiful spaces? GENROSE Stone + Tile is seeking a motivated and professional Part-Time Showroom Sales & Design Consultant to join our Ipswich showroom.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in tile, flooring, stone, cabinetry, kitchen & bath, or interior design sales who enjoys working directly with homeowners, contractors, builders, and designers. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, well-spoken, and committed to providing an exceptional customer experience.
Schedule
Part-Time (Approximately 16-20 Hours Weekly)
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Thursday: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Required)
Additional hours may be available based on business needs.
Compensation
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Compensation is based on experience in tile, flooring, stone, cabinetry, kitchen & bath, or related showroom sales.
Responsibilities
- Assist homeowners, contractors, builders, and designers with product selections.
- Guide customers through the design and purchasing process.
- Prepare quotations, sales orders, and follow-up communications.
- Develop and maintain strong customer and trade relationships.
- Maintain showroom displays, sample organization, and overall showroom appearance.
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse staff, and vendors to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Stay current on product offerings, trends, and design applications.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in tile, flooring, stone, cabinetry, kitchen & bath, interior design, or showroom sales preferred.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be well-spoken, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple customer projects while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Comfortable using computers and sales/order entry systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Saturday availability is required.
