We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer who thrives in a client-facing environment and is ready to lead design projects from concept through installation.
Position Summary
This role combines interior design, business development, project management, and showroom sales. The ideal candidate is self driven, creative, organized, client-focused and entrepreneurial.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-service residential and commercial interior design projects
- Drive furniture and accessory sales within the showroom
- Develop space plans, design concepts, and visual presentations
- Specify furniture, materials, finishes, textiles, and accessories
- Manage vendor communication, purchasing, and order tracking
- Oversee projects from initial client relationship to final installation
- Maintain project timelines, budgets, and high service standards
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for new projects
Required Qualifications
- Interior design experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of space planning, furnishings, materials and finishes
- Experience with drafting and/or design presentation software preferable
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work 12pm - 5pm two Saturdays per month
