Job Position: Residential Remodeling Carpenter
Starting Salary: $25-$30 DOE
Work Schedule: 40 hrs/ week, Monday- Friday 7:30-4:00
Supervisor : Project Manager

Job Summary:
A remodeling carpenter understands the majority of construction practices and standards. They are able to use most tools safely and efficiently to perform their specific tasks. Assisting the lead carpenter in measuring for materials and estimating labor is helpful to help understand the entire scope of a project. Duties will include construction tasks that range from rough carpentry to finish carpentry with some minor trade tasks including: exterior carpentry (siding, fences, decks etc.) concrete, demolition, drywall, flooring, painting, etc. Versatility is necessary to work as remodeling carpenter, as they begin to understand all aspects and phases of a project.
Specific Responsibilities, Qualifications, and Requirements:
Attend production meetings and understand the day to day tasks for a project to increase productivity. Execute projects according to contract drawings, schedules, and specifications. Be able to interpret drawings, specs, and timelines. Provide excellent client relations with good communication and the ability to adapt to different client behaviors and personalities. Perform all carpentry tasks necessary to complete the project. Provide basic hand and power tools and adequate transportation to and from job sites. Must be able to pass a standard drug screening and have a valid driver’s license. Applicants must have 2 years experience or equivalent education.
