Pacific Industries, Inc. is a wholesale supplier and importer of various power transmission products. They include, but are not limited to: bearings, conveyor chain, engineering chain, roller chain and shaft collar products. Our primary customer base includes distributors as well as manufacturers of various types of equipment across a multitude of different industries. We are in search of a qualified, professional, and experienced national sales manager to manage our sales teams in an effort to grow the company through the promotion and sale of our products. The position wage is comprised of base salary, commissions, plus performance bonuses. A minimum of 5 years of industrial business to business sales management experience is required as is a clean driving record. Experience in wood products as well as managing third party manufacturer rep groups are a plus.
Job Overview

Duties
- Implement sales strategies to expand our customer base and strengthen the PII brand.
- Set, implement and achieve both short and long range sales growth goals that align with corporate goals and strategies.
- Create a positive and motivating culture, develop sales talent to take advantage of strengths and correct weaknesses of the sales staff.
- Recruit, train, supervise, mentor and evaluate sales personnel in accordance with company policy and practice.
- Prepare sales budgets and projections and approve travel and expenditures.
- Help to establish training and sales incentive programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing methods, costs, and results against goals.
- Develop and coordinate sales selling cycles and methodology.
- Assist in the management and growth of independent manufacturing representative partners.
- Oversee the delivery of sales and marketing materials, exhibits and promotion programs by the sales staff.
- Manage activity level of the sales team, phone calls, emails and travel.
- Use, and manage the sales team’s use of, the CRM software.
- Assist in developing pricing policies & strategies, price lists, volume discounts and terms and conditions for customers and channel partners.
- Help to handle and resolve customer complaints and/or issues regarding a product or service.
- Track and analyze sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts
- Possess and use strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
- Possess the ability to manage time, problem solve and be organized.
- Have the ability to travel.
- Any other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales & Marketing.

Requirements
- BA/BS Degree with a minimum of 5 years Industrial/Wholesale experience in an increasingly responsible position and demonstrable management experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
