KADIMA WEALTH
Wealth Advisor Growth and Business Development
Schaumburg Illinois Full time Primarily in office
Kadima Wealth is hiring a licensed financial advisor who can create opportunities, earn trust, and win new client relationships. This is a growth role, not a traditional service-only or relationship-management position. You do not need to arrive with a large portable book, but you must be able to show that you can prospect, follow up, and close.
PRIMARY MANDATE
Generate and convert new business
LICENSES
Series 65 or Series 7 and 66
LONG TERM UPSIDE
Recurring economics and potential ownership
The Opportunity
Kadima Wealth is a founder-led independent wealth management firm built around direct advice, thoughtful investment management, and personal accountability. The advisor who joins us will have access to the firm's technology, investment resources, marketing support, operations team, and founder guidance while remaining responsible for building a durable pipeline of new relationships.
This opportunity may be especially attractive to a productive advisor at a bank, credit union, national investment firm, private bank, wirehouse, independent broker-dealer, or smaller RIA who has demonstrated sales ability but wants more autonomy, stronger support, and a meaningful stake in what they help build.
What You Will Do
· Build and execute a personal business-development plan using professional referrals, community relationships, networking, events, digital outreach, and other appropriate channels.
· Generate qualified prospect conversations rather than relying exclusively on firm-assigned leads.
· Convert both self-generated and firm-supported opportunities by leading discovery meetings, presenting recommendations, addressing objections, and asking for the business.
· Develop trusted relationships with individuals, families, executives, business owners, and other qualified prospects.
· Serve as the primary advisor for relationships you originate, supported by Kadima's client-service, operational, technology, and investment resources.
· Maintain disciplined follow-up, accurate CRM records, and clear accountability for activity, pipeline, conversion, new assets, and new revenue.
· Help strengthen Kadima's referral network, market presence, and repeatable approach to growth.
What Success Looks Like
· You consistently create qualified conversations and move them toward a decision.
· You can explain where your pipeline comes from, what actions you control, and why prospects choose to work with you.
· You follow through without being chased and respond with appropriate urgency.
· You build a repeatable niche, referral channel, or market presence instead of depending on a single source of leads.
· You earn greater economics and responsibility as the relationships and revenue you originate grow.
What You Bring
· A current Series 65, or current Series 7 and Series 66, with the ability to become registered promptly as an investment adviser representative through the firm's platform.
· At least three years of client-facing investment, advisory, banking, brokerage, or financial-services experience preferred.
· Evidence that you have personally generated or converted new business. We care more about demonstrated sales ability than the size of a portable book.
· Strong communication, judgment, follow-up, and the confidence to ask for a commitment.
· An entrepreneurial mindset, personal accountability, and comfort working in a growing firm where initiative matters.
· The ability to pass all required background, registration, and firm reviews.
· CFP certification or another advanced designation is welcomed but not required.
What Kadima Wealth Offers
· Expected base salary of $100,000 to $140,000, based on experience and demonstrated production.
· Uncapped variable compensation tied to new client revenue, with the potential for recurring participation in retained relationships.
· Health benefits, paid time off, NYSE holidays, professional-development support, and a modern advisory technology platform.
· Hands-on guidance from the founder, marketing support, and an experienced service and operations team.
· Clear economic recognition for the relationships and growth you create.
· For the right person who demonstrates sustained production, leadership, and cultural fit, the long-term opportunity may include participation in the value of the firm, potentially including equity or an equity-like incentive. Any such arrangement would be separately negotiated and documented.
Who This Role Is Not For
This is not a service-only position and it is not designed for someone who wants to wait for a full calendar of assigned appointments. Kadima will provide support, coaching, resources, and some marketing opportunities. The advisor must bring the drive and discipline to create additional opportunities and convert them.
How to Apply
Please submit a resume and a short note answering this question: During the past two years, what new business did you personally originate or convert, and how did you do it? Use anonymized results and do not provide client names, confidential information, or proprietary records from a current or former employer.
