Overview
TrailerFunnel is looking for an experienced Google & Facebook Ads Specialist with experience in SEO to join our digital marketing team.
This position will be responsible for managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads and Meta/Facebook, while also understanding how SEO, website content, landing pages, and conversion optimization impact overall marketing performance.

Duties
Google Ads
- Create, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns
- Manage Search, Performance Max, Display, Remarketing, and Shopping campaigns
- Conduct keyword research and develop keyword strategies
- Build and manage negative keyword lists
- Write and test ad copy
- Monitor search terms, impressions, clicks, conversions, CPC, CPA, and ROAS
- Analyze campaign performance and make ongoing adjustments
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign quality and budget allocation
- Troubleshoot Google Ads tracking, conversion, policy, and performance issues
- Monitor Google Merchant Center and product feeds when applicable
Facebook / Meta Ads
- Create, manage, and optimize Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns
- Develop campaigns for lead generation, website traffic, remarketing, and conversions
- Create and test ad copy, audiences, and creative concepts
- Monitor campaign performance and lead quality
- Manage Meta Pixel and conversion tracking
- Analyze audience and campaign data to improve results
- Stay current with Meta advertising changes and best practices
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor campaign and website performance
- Analyze Google Analytics and Google Search Console data
- Track leads, phone calls, form submissions, and other conversions
- Prepare performance reports for clients
- Identify trends and provide actionable recommendations
- Use data to determine what is working and where improvements are needed
Client & Team Support
- Participate in client strategy and account review meetings
- Communicate campaign performance and recommendations clearly
- Review client websites and identify marketing opportunities
- Work with internal team members on websites, SEO, content, and advertising
- Maintain accurate documentation of campaign changes and strategies
- Stay current with Google, Meta, SEO, analytics, and digital marketing changes
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns on Google Ads (Google AdWords), Microsoft Ads (formerly Bing Ads), Facebook Advertising, and Twitter Ads.
- Strong understanding of SEM (Search Engine Marketing), paid search marketing, social media advertising, and media performance analytics.
- Proficiency in web analytics reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other SEO tools for tracking campaign success.
- Skilled in keyword research techniques and tools to identify high-value keywords for targeted advertising efforts.
- Experience managing budgets in a search marketing role with a focus on ROI optimization.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies including SEO (Search Engine Optimization), conversion optimization, affiliate marketing, and media planning.
- Ability to analyze large datasets using spreadsheets with pivot tables for insights that inform decision making.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly; strong organizational skills for managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Google Ads certification
- Meta Blueprint certification
- Experience with Google Merchant Center
- Experience with conversion tracking and Google Tag Manager
- Experience with lead-generation campaigns
- Experience with e-commerce or product advertising
- Experience with local SEO
- Experience working with WordPress or other website platforms
- Experience in the automotive, trailer, equipment, or dealership industries
- Agency experience managing multiple client accounts
