Accelerate Engineering, PLLC (AE) is a dynamic and growing transportation engineering firm based in Cary, NC. We are seeking a self-motivated Transportation Engineer for our Cary office. Task assignments may include roadway design, feasibility studies, traffic forecast, capacity analysis and simulations, safety analysis, traffic engineering design (signing, pavement marking, work zone traffic control, traffic signal), and technical report preparations. Some travel to project sites or meetings may be required.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of four years of relevant project experience in one or more technical areas.
- Proficiency in the roadway and/or traffic engineering design and analysis programs such as OpenRoads Designer, GuideSIGN, AutoTurn, Synchro, TransModeler, SIDRA, HCS.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness and ability to learn new job skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- NC PE or ability to obtain PE is preferred.
