Are you a Maintenance or Reliability Engineer who enjoys solving recurring equipment problems and improving how a plant runs?
I’m recruiting for a manufacturer near Varnado, Louisiana, with a significant investment program. They need a degree-qualified engineer to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance.
You’ll work with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to turn equipment data and failure investigations into practical improvements on the plant floor.
The role:
- Investigate recurring equipment failures and implement lasting corrective actions.
- Improve preventive and predictive maintenance across production equipment.
- Use condition monitoring, including vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography, to identify developing problems.
- Analyze downtime and maintenance history to prioritize improvements.
- Support equipment modifications and improve maintenance records and planning.
What you’ll need:
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Three or more years in manufacturing maintenance, reliability, or plant engineering.
- Experience investigating equipment failures and improving maintenance practices.
- Experience using a computerized maintenance management system to plan and track maintenance.
Heavy manufacturing experience would be useful. Maintenance Engineers with relevant reliability experience are encouraged to apply.
