Position Overview
CHEMEON Surface Technology seeks a detail-oriented, creative Sales & Marketing Administrator to support sales operations, marketing collateral development, data-driven reporting, and outbound sales activity. This role sits at the intersection of sales administration, database management, creative marketing production, and light sales engagement. The ideal candidate is proficient in CRM, excel, and comfortable extracting and transforming operational data into clear business-flow reports, possesses a strong visual eye for producing technical marketing materials, and is willing to actively participate in the sales process through phone outreach, email campaign coordination and follow-up calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze sales and operational data from internal CRM (Filemaker) on a daily and weekly basis; convert that data into clear, accurate Excel reports tracking business flow, pipeline activity, order status, and related metrics.
- Compile and organize information from emails and other sources into structured Excel updates and summaries for leadership and sales teams.
- Coordinate and execute email campaigns originating from CRM data. This will include list management, segmentation, campaign setup/support, and basic tracking.
- Participate in the sales process by making initial outreach and follow-up calls as needed to advance opportunities, confirm details, schedule next steps, or support the sales team.
- Create and update technical marketing collateral (product one-pagers, process sheets, presentation decks, digital assets, and campaign materials) using PowerPoint and AI.
- Apply a creative eye and technical understanding to produce professional, accurate materials suitable for aerospace, defense, and industrial customers.
- Contribute ideas and creative input to marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales enablement initiatives.
- Maintain organized digital files and version control for collateral and reporting templates.
- Support ad-hoc data pulls, presentation preparation, and administrative tasks that keep sales and marketing workflows moving efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning, charting, and report automation).
- Hands-on experience with CRM software (or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and extract data from relational databases).
- Proficiency in AI, PowerPoint for creating polished technical and marketing materials.
- Demonstrated creative ability and visual sense for technical collateral (product literature, process diagrams, presentation design).
- Ability to turn raw data and email correspondence into clear, reliable daily and weekly Excel business-flow updates.
- Comfort coordinating email campaigns and working with customer/contact data from a database.
- Willingness and ability to make professional initial outreach and follow-up calls as part of the sales process.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage recurring reporting deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting sales or marketing teams in a technical, manufacturing, or B2B industrial environment.
- Prior experience with email campaign tools or database-driven outreach.
- Familiarity with surface finishing, coatings, aerospace/defense, or specialty chemicals is a plus but not required.
- Experience contributing creative concepts to campaigns or sales enablement materials.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured data work, creative production, and active participation in the sales cycle—delivering clean, timely Excel reporting while supporting phone, email outreach and making initial and follow-up calls as needed.
Pay: $21.00 - $31.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
