Job description:
1. Assist the Country Head in achieving the objectives related to the Bank’s growth and profitability as per the required framework.
2. Ownership of the Bank’s Financial Controls, Related Party Transaction Policy, and External Auditor Review Policy.
Ownership of other policies as per requirements.
3. Directs the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholder, tax returns and reports for government regulatory agencies
4. Oversees accounting department, budget preparation and statutory audit functions. Meets regularly with department heads to keep informed and offer direction.
5. Responsible for all taxation related matters for the bank. Advise respective departments on taxation related matter
6. Reviews reports to analyze projections of revenue and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggests methods of improving the planning processes as appropriate.
7. Analyzes Bank operations to pinpoint opportunities and areas that need to be reorganized, down-sized or eliminated
8. Maintain working relationships with regulatory agencies, capital markets, investment community and business partners.
9. Development and implementation of a vendor management program that realizes cost savings through negotiation of prices and evaluation of vendor effectiveness.
10. Development of inter-company policies, transfer pricing strategies and tax planning strategies such that the Bank is compliant with all tax rules and regulations.
11. Responsible for analyst and investor relations, including rating agencies.
12. Maintain an effective and good working relationship with the statutory External Auditors of the Bank to ensure that an effective audit is performed on a periodic basis and that there are no corrected and uncorrected misstatements in the audit report.
13. Other special duties as assigned by the Country Head.
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
