Our client, an aerospace and satellite technology organization, is seeking a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer III to join their team in Redmond, WA. In this role, you will be working on electrical functions that help enable fast, reliable broadband connectivity beyond the reach of existing networks. If you are energized by hands-on engineering, high-reliability design, and solving complex problems at the subsystem and system levels, this is the kind of work where you can make an immediate impact—and keep growing.
Job Title: Sr. Electrical Design Engineer III

Pay Range: $68.00 per hour
What's the Job?
- Own electrical design tasks across the full product lifecycle, including board design, component selection, layout review, board bring-up, system test, and root-cause analysis.
- Design and verify electrical functions such as analog sensor signal conditioning and processing, motor and actuator control, embedded digital electronics, power regulation, and monitoring/control across spacecraft interfaces.
- Support high-quality, innovative board-level electrical designs by reviewing and improving electrical schematics and layouts in collaboration with other engineers.
- Perform hands-on laboratory testing, analyze results, and document design decisions, findings, and test outcomes for cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate regularly with hardware, software, firmware, mechanical, systems, and integration teams to drive design verification, qualification, and issue resolution.
What's Needed?
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware development across multiple phases of the product life cycle in areas such as consumer electronics, power electronics, robotics, aerospace, automotive, communications, or a combination thereof.
- Open to candidates with experience in any combination of power, analog, or mixed-signal domains.
- Demonstrated technical depth in board-level electrical hardware design, including experience across precision analog/sensor electronics, embedded digital systems, high-speed interfaces, motor/actuator control, memory, or power regulation.
- Experience with PCB design, board bring-up, and debugging using tools and lab equipment, including oscilloscopes and common electrical test instruments.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB-layout ECAD tools, plus familiarity with complex board designs involving high-speed interconnects, high-reliability electronics, power regulation, or motor/actuator-control electronics.
What's in it for me?
- Work on challenging, novel electrical design problems that require strong technical judgment and fast, effective execution.
- Collaborate with top engineers across multiple spacecraft design and integration teams, with regular cross-functional interaction.
- Build real-world expertise through board bring-up, system test, design verification, qualification, and root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to designs that support communities and organizations operating where dependable internet access is limited.
