- Own monthly variance analysis across revenue, opex, and headcount, delivering commentary to finance leadership within close deadlines
- Prepare GAAP-compliant reporting packages, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for quarterly and annual close
- Support SOX compliance by documenting key controls, coordinating walkthroughs, and remediating deficiencies with internal audit
- Analyze unit economics, SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC payback), and margin trends to inform pricing and spend decisions
- Partner with accounting managers and compliance analysts to streamline close processes and automate reporting
- Present findings and recommendations to senior finance leadership, including board-ready summaries

- Advanced Excel skills (complex modeling, pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH); experience with NetSuite, Workday, or similar ERP
- Strong SQL or Power BI/Tableau skills for pulling and visualizing data independently
- Ability to manage close deadlines, work with incomplete data, and communicate findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Bonus: Experience at a venture-backed or publicly traded technology company; familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition; Python or advanced BI automation
