Terrapin Ridge Farms, a premier gourmet food company, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Representative to contribute to our ambitious revenue growth and expand our market reach. This role is essential for developing and nurturing client relationships, driving sales, and achieving company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to identify their needs and increase account growth.
- Generate new sales opportunities through a mix of inbound lead follow-up and proactive outreach, including cold calls and targeted email campaigns.
- Close sales, meet and exceed monthly sales quotas, and maintain a high level of performance.
- Conduct thorough research on prospective accounts to identify key decision-makers and understand their business needs.
- Regularly update and manage client information in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with your Territory Manager to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
- A passion for food and gourmet products is a must; knowledge of the food industry is a significant advantage.
- Proven track record in inside sales. A minimum of one year of inside sales experience required, with food sales experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of organization, time management, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and surpass sales goals.
- Confident phone presence and comfort with cold-calling and client interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
