We are seeking experienced, motivated sales professionals to join our Encino office. This opportunity is particularly well-suited for individuals with backgrounds in commercial banking, mortgage lending, real estate, financial services, investment services, or other relationship-driven sales industries.
Our sales process is consultative, not transactional. We work with prospective clients facing complex financial situations who need knowledgeable professionals capable of understanding their circumstances, building trust, and helping them identify appropriate solutions.
Prior tax resolution experience is not required. We are interested in accomplished sales professionals who bring strong communication skills, financial acumen, and a proven ability to close business.
Position Overview
As a Financial Services Sales Consultant, you will engage with prospective clients primarily over the phone, assess their financial circumstances, and introduce tax resolution services and other solutions offered by the company.
This is a phone-based, consultative closing role that requires professionalism, confidence, active listening, and the ability to guide clients through important financial decisions.
Successful candidates will be comfortable discussing sensitive financial matters, establishing credibility, overcoming objections, and closing deals while maintaining a client-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional, consultative sales conversations with prospective clients over the phone.
- Evaluate prospective clients' financial circumstances, concerns, and service needs.
- Present tax resolution services and related solutions in a clear, compelling, and professional manner.
- Develop trust and credibility with prospective clients through thoughtful questioning, active listening, and financial understanding.
- Manage prospective clients throughout the sales process, from initial consultation through closing.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients to advance opportunities and secure new business.
- Address objections, explain service value, and confidently guide clients toward informed decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales opportunities, and follow-up activities within the CRM system.
- Consistently meet and exceed individual sales and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a professional transition from sales to service delivery.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity, and client service.
Preferred Professional Backgrounds
We are particularly interested in candidates with sales experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Commercial Banking: Business development, commercial lending, relationship management, or financial product sales.
- Mortgage Lending: Mortgage loan officers, mortgage brokers, or professionals experienced in financial consultations and closing.
- Real Estate: Licensed real estate agents, brokers, or real estate sales professionals with strong negotiation and closing experience.
- Financial Services: Financial advisors, investment consultants, or financial sales representatives, including professionals who hold or have held a Series 7 license.
- Other Consultative Sales: Professionals with experience selling high-value services or solutions that require trust, relationship-building, and a structured closing process.
Experience in these industries is preferred but not required. We welcome applicants from other professional sales backgrounds who can demonstrate strong consultative selling and closing abilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or client-facing financial services.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, manage objections, and successfully close deals.
- Strong verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable conducting detailed financial conversations over the phone.
- Ability to understand complex client situations and communicate solutions clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and consistent follow-up habits.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and driven to achieve sales goals.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to establish credibility with clients.
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven, commission-based sales environment.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline is preferred.
What We're Looking For
