Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and post-production, with proficiency in various editing software and tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling through visual media, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product that aligns with project goals and client expectations.
Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and vision.
Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid to perform video editing tasks.
Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
Conduct photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One as needed for video projects.
Manage content creation across various platforms while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
Organize and maintain files using content management systems and FTP protocols for efficient workflow.
Participate in filming sessions as needed, contributing creative input during the production process.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques in video editing, graphic design, and animation.

Requirements

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Bridge, as well as Final Cut Pro and Avid.
Experience with post-production processes including video editing, photo editing, motion graphics creation, and 3D/2D animation (Maya).
Strong skills in videography and photography with an understanding of filming techniques.
Familiarity with typography principles and graphic design concepts.
Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.47 - $38.27 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
