Overview

ReMedi Health Solutions, a nationally recognized physician-led healthcare IT consulting firm, is seeking a Clinical Engineering Support Specialist to provide on-site, on-call support for a leading West Coast health system. This role is ideal for an individual with experience in medical device integration and troubleshooting who is local to the Mountain View, CA area.

Role Summary

The Clinical Engineering Support Specialist will provide standard operational support for the health system’s clinical engineering services. The position requires an individual (or small team) capable of being available on-site when needed to assist with integrations and troubleshoot issues related to clinical equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide on-call, on-site technical support for medical equipment integration and troubleshooting.
Address operational issues with devices such as:
Ultrasound units
Stress test systems
EKG and EMG units
Partner with hospital Clinical Engineering and IT teams to ensure safe, efficient operation of clinical devices.
Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and escalations.

Qualifications

Prior experience in clinical engineering, biomedical engineering, or medical device integration within a hospital or healthcare environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for medical equipment and clinical device connectivity.
Ability to work independently, with responsiveness to urgent support needs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interface with hospital engineering and IT teams.
Must be able to commute reliably to Mountain View, CA.

Preferred

Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and EHR/device integrations.
Experience supporting large health systems or hospital environments.

Pay: $55.00 - $80.00 per hour
