About Us

Stage to Move is a high-end home staging and interior design company with a reputation for design-forward spaces and seamless project execution. We’re growing quickly, and with our current staging manager going on maternity leave in early 2026, we’re looking for a dynamic leader to step in - first as her temporary replacement, and then transition into a full-time interior design leadership role.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to grow within the company and take ownership of interior design projects while learning the heart of what we do: staging.

INTERIOR DESIGN LEAD

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-scope interior design projects from proposal to installation
Source furnishings, fixtures, finishes, and materials
Lead client presentations and guide project direction
Budget effectively using Excel/Google Sheets
Coordinate with contractors and vendors for timely execution
Create layouts and designs (SketchUp, Design Files, or similar)
Maintain strong client communication and timelines
Step in as staging backup when needed

Qualifications

Home Staging experience
Interior design experience (3–5+ years preferred)
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and client management
Software knowledge: SketchUp, Design Files, Excel/Sheets, project trackers
Comfortable with physical staging needs (lifting light items, being onsite)
Calm under pressure, creative problem solver, strong decision-maker
Portfolio and references showing design execution and client satisfaction
