Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the performing arts, particularly in dance and theater, and possess the ability to educate others while effectively communicating complex concepts. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills, making it perfect for individuals who thrive in collaborative environments.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for dance and theater productions, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
Educate performers and staff on the use of technical equipment and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate production schedules and requirements.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment before and after performances.
Write detailed reports on equipment performance and maintenance needs.
Engage in public speaking to present technical information during training sessions or meetings.

Requirements

Experience or education in dance, theater, or a related field is preferred.
Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Proficiency in writing technical documentation and reports.
Knowledge of ballet or other dance forms is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
