Pulsewave is a new wave of DJ analytics — a platform that lets DJs record, analyze, and visualize their sets using real-time performance data and AI-driven insights.

Our mission is to bring analytics to the heart of music performance, helping DJs and producers understand crowd energy, track appeal, and creative flow through powerful visual feedback.

We’re currently moving from concept to MVP and turning a full Figma prototype into a production-ready app.

The role

As a Software Engineer Intern at Pulsewave, you’ll work directly with the founder to turn visual designs into a functional application.

You’ll help design the architecture, build out the front-end and back-end, and experiment with music analytics and real-time audio components.

This role is ideal for someone who loves both music and code and wants their work to evolve into a product used by performers worldwide.

What you’ll work on

• Converting a full Figma design into a working Flutter or iOS app

• Building Firebase or Supabase integrations (auth, profiles, cloud storage)

• Implementing audio playback and visualization features

• Shipping features end-to-end: from prototype to deployment

• Collaborating in early-stage product design and iteration

Required skills

• Experience with Flutter, React Native, or another cross-platform framework

• Familiarity with Firebase, Supabase, or similar BaaS platforms

• Comfortable translating Figma designs into responsive UI

• Strong skills in Dart, JavaScript, or a similar programming language

• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals (version control, debugging, testing)

• Bonus: interest in music production, DJing, AI/audio tech, or startup development
