Beauregard Health System is seeking an experienced healthcare Grant Proposal Manager to lead and manage a long-term funding strategy supporting rural healthcare transformation initiatives across Louisiana. This position is designed to support a six-year strategic initiative focused on securing federal, state, and foundation funding aligned with rural healthcare sustainability, workforce stabilization, infrastructure modernization, technology expansion, behavioral health access, and operational transformation.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Louisiana healthcare systems, rural health operations, federal grant compliance, and competitive healthcare funding environments.

Position: Grant Proposal Manager

Independent Contractor: Multi-year contractual engagement with defined deliverables, strategic milestones, and performance-based incentives.

Strategic Focus Areas

The Grant Proposal Manager will support initiatives related to:

Rural Health Transformation Fund (RHTF)
HRSA funding opportunities
CMS rural and transformation initiatives
Workforce recruitment and retention programs
Behavioral health expansion
Rural specialty care access
Telehealth and broadband expansion
Capital and infrastructure modernization
Healthcare technology implementation
Community health improvement initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Lead development and management of complex healthcare grant proposals
Collaborate with executive leadership, finance, operations, HR, compliance, clinical leadership, and external stakeholders
Identify and evaluate federal, state, and foundation funding opportunities
Develop multi-year grant strategies aligned with organizational priorities
Coordinate data collection, narrative development, budgets, attachments, and reporting requirements
Ensure compliance with HRSA, CMS, federal procurement, and state grant regulations
Manage proposal timelines, deliverables, and submission schedules
Support post-award compliance and reporting activities
Assist with renewal applications and continuation funding opportunities
Maintain confidentiality of organizational strategies, data, and grant materials

Preferred Qualifications

5–10+ years of healthcare grant writing and proposal management experience
Demonstrated success securing healthcare funding through federal, state, and foundation sources
Experience with rural health initiatives and rural hospital operations
Familiarity with Louisiana healthcare systems preferred
Strong understanding of HRSA, CMS, and state healthcare funding mechanisms
Experience managing multi-year grant portfolios and phased funding initiatives
Knowledge of grant compliance, reporting, procurement, and audit requirements
Exceptional project management and executive communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with leadership teams and external partners

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting or managing grants related to:

Rural health systems
Workforce stabilization initiatives
Behavioral health programming
Telehealth implementation
Healthcare infrastructure projects
Medicaid and underserved populations
Community health and population health initiatives

Compensation Structure

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and demonstrated healthcare funding success.
