Summary: The General Manager is responsible for maintaining the company vision, for the financial performance of the company, and for the development of management skills and expertise. This position is ultimately responsible for the operations of all departments and must ensure that they operate in accordance with the policies of the company, and within ethical and legal guidelines. The General Manager must appropriately satisfy the requirements of the company’s three constituencies: the Company, the Employees, and the Customers.

Compensation: Salary, Exempt, position. $150,000 to $200,000 annually, Depending on Experience, Bonus Program, Equity Participation Potential

Work Location: Redmond/Bend, OR

Responsibilities, include but not limited to:

· Determines staffing requirements, hires and trains new staff, supervises direct reporting staff according to overall company policy, sets employee goals and objectives, and monitors staff performance including performance reviews.

· Applies strategic planning to determine company, department or unit objectives.

· Reviews performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels, and allocates use of available resources based on analysis.

· Monitors and assists staff with work progress. Provides coaching and leadership to staff as necessary and/or requested.

· Evaluates current business processes and systems. Make relevant corrections, improvements and suggestions.

· Plans, develops and implements procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency. Formulates department/unit policies and practices.

· Provide world class customer service, including managing any issues effectively, timely, and with appropriate solutions for full resolution.

· Have verifiable working knowledge of HVAC, service, install, design, and sales.

· Co-ordinates financial and budget activities for maximum operational efficiency.

· Facilitates the preparation and analysis of reports. Make appropriate and logical decisions based on data and experience

Qualifications:

· Valid and insurable driver’s license with clean driving record.

· Knowledge of Home Services, (HVAC / Plumbing / Electrical installation, design, and sales is a must).

· Strong leadership qualities; excellent managerial skills.

· Able to comprehend and analyze large amounts of information quickly.

· Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a complex work environment.

· A demonstrated ability to understand company financial information.

· Good interpersonal skills.

· Have verifiable work history and references.

· Able to communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely with other team members, management, and customers in person, by phone and email.

· Ability to lift, climb stairs and ladders, and work in small spaces.

· Must be highly motivated, detailed oriented, able to multi-task, be highly skilled in problem solving and accurate resolutions, have a keen sense of urgency, be flexible, and demonstrate the ability to follow through on tasks timely and effectively.

· Have a great attitude that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

· Must be punctual with a clean presentation of them self and be prepared to work every day to provide reliable support for your team with excellent timeliness and attendance.
