Private Equity Associate – Healthcare Focus

Position Summary
The Private Equity Associate will play a critical role in evaluating new investment opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio company initiatives in the healthcare space. This role offers significant exposure to the entire investment lifecycle and the opportunity to work closely with senior investment professionals, industry executives, and portfolio company leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling, including LBOs, valuations, and sensitivity analyses.
- Support all phases of due diligence across clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory workstreams.
- Draft investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee.
- Monitor portfolio company performance; provide analytical support for strategic growth initiatives.
- Perform industry and competitive research to identify emerging trends, healthcare subsectors, and partnership opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- 2–3 years of Investment Banking experience, ideally in Healthcare coverage groups.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with healthcare-specific deal exposure preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated interest in private equity and healthcare investing.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution; Investment Banking experience from a top-tier bank preferred.
Location: New York, NY
Base Salary: $175,000+ bonus & full benefits
